What is Text Justification??
Text Justification sets the position of text relative to its origin. MicroStation supports all justification types for both single-line and multi-line text.
Text Node justification: A Text Node is a kind of Place Marker for formatted Text. The Node carries all the text formatting information, and when activated it allows the text to be inserted using that formatting.
Difference between Text Justification and Text Node Justification?
Text Justification is used only for text whereas Text Node Justification is used only for Text Nodes. A single line text elements is changed to a text node if line is added to it.
Multi-line text or text that contains multiple formats is automatically converted to a text node
Assign Text and Text Node Justification to text feature.
- Open ‘GSA’ > Select ‘Text Feature’ > Select the ‘Symbology’ node under Text Feature.
- Under ‘Symbology’ Tab in Right hand side area, assign the value > Select the value for ‘Text Justification’ and ‘Text Node Justification’ from dropdown.
- Notes: When you add the settings, there is also a default value to the criteria, which is = 0, that means "false". So, it won't be considered. You need to either erase it or set it to 1, which means "true". So if you add "0" into the criteria of the Text Justification in the schema, it will ignore the blank value and use the one defined in your Microstation Text Style.
