Problem

When going from I/Rasb V7 (J) to Descartes V8i Intergraph raster images like CIT and INGR TIF images become skewed.

Solution

The attached are steps that should be done to prevent the issue.

You will need to set the environment variables in MicroStation and Descartes.

Open a blank dgn file.  This is so we can set the Environment Variables.
Go Into MicroStation
Workspace > Configuration
New
Variable:              MS_RASTER_IGNORE_INGRTAGS_WITH_GEOTIFFTAGS
New Value:        1
OK
New
Variable:              MS_INGRFILE_REGISTRATION
New Value:        1
OK
You may have to OK until you exit Configuration and go back in and do the second Environment Variable.
Exit MicroStation

Go into Descartes
Workspace > Configuration
New
Variable:              MS_RASTER_IGNORE_INGRTAGS_WITH_GEOTIFFTAGS
New Value:        1
OK
New
Variable:              MS_INGRFILE_REGISTRATION
New Value:        1
OK
